ALL INDIA POLITICAL PARTIES MEET

AGENDA: Assessing the condition of Jammu and Kashmir in the light of reorganization act 2019.

The nation's politics have been constantly shifting. The All India Political Party Meets are conventions that allow India's varied political organizations to find a consensus on choices of national importance prior to the session of the parliament or the introduction of the bill. Owing to the parliament's lack of legislative power, the forum's primary aim was for unconstrained political debate, discussion, and deliberation, which may not be allowed in parliament due to time limits, but this body today aids in offering a better understanding of national concerns. The AIPPM committee at an MUN seeks to replicate this reality by duplicating the stages of policy and jurisdiction, with delegates portraying personalities from India's diverse political parties. The AIPPM committee expects its representatives to be well-versed, with their political party's ideology, manifesto, and beliefs, which helps the representatives grasp the multi-layered processes that go behind policy-making and governance in India, providing them with explicit experience to the hitches and hurdles that political parties face in modern times. The Members must keep up to date on any developments outside of the committee and will be expected to respond to such changing circumstances while keeping their character's political interests in mind. The executive board will have no political affiliations while serving as speakers. The AIPPM committee, unlike other traditional MUN committees, is distinguished by passionate arguments, cross-talk, high degrees of bargaining, and political democracy.

The reorganization Act of 2019 pertaining to the Article 370 of the Indian constitution gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir — a state in India, located in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent, and a part of the larger region of Kashmir, which has been the subject of dispute between India, Pakistan and China. Article 370 was revoked on 5 August, 2019, the revoking was a matter of concern for both Pakistan and China as On 7 August, Pakistan expelled India’s High Commissioner and recalled its own top diplomat from New Delhi. It announced the suspension of bilateral trade. China has said it supports Pakistan’s stance, highlighting its opposition to the establishment of Ladakh as a separate territory ruled from New Delhi, China currently controls territory which India claims as an extension of Ladakh. The government's primary rationale behind the revocation of special status was to "eliminate the threat of terror."However, there still has been renewed concern about cross-border terrorism with regard to the security of the citizens of the state and the Kashmiri Pandits conflicts.
